I charge its battery in the fireproof bag
I got from Amazon. I also always store it in there, not in the ebike.
When charging in the bag I periodically open the bag to let out any
heat that builds up in there if there is any.
I personally only would want to buy eBike batteries, and any eBike as a unit that is UL Certified, not "UL Compatible" (whatever that is,) or something else.
Liability insurance companies typically will only insure ebikes that are rated at 750 watts or lower. Markel Insurance is an entity that sells ebike liability insurance.
It's typically heavier and more expensive but a 750 watt ebike
typically goes up hills easier than lower wattage ebikes. Fat tires
might offer better traction than thinner tires.
Ebike prices on Amazon have gone down a lot.
